Two new Oppo smartphones are entering the Indian market soon. However, not completely new, according to the report, the popular Chinese company is bringing the Oppo A55 (Oppo A55) and Oppo A16 (Oppo A16) phones that were launched in different markets a few months ago. Last January, Oppo launched the A55 in its domestic market with 8GB / 128GB storage and 5G connectivity.
Later in July, the A16 model with 3GB / 32GB storage was launched in Indonesia. Now, tipster, Mukul Sarma has claimed that the two phones will hit the Indian market later this month. However, Tipster did not say whether any of these features would be changed and brought to India.
Specification and price of Oppo A55
We are aware of the specifications of the Oppo A55 phone due to its launch in China. This phone has a 6.5 inch HD + display with a screen resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. This phone uses Mediatek Dimension 600 processor. The Oppo A55 has a 5,000 mAh battery for power backup.
For photography, the phone has a triple rear camera setup with an existing 13-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone runs on Android 11 based Colors custom skin.
In India, the Oppo A55 is expected to cost less than Rs 20,000. In China, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of this phone is priced at 1,599 Yuan (about Rs 16,300).

The Oppo A16 handset has been launched in Indonesia with a 6.52-inch HD + display (resolution 720 × 1600 pixels), Mediatek Helion G35 SOC, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Moreover, like the A55 model, this phone also has a triple rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
In terms of price, the Oppo A16 was launched in Indonesia for 1,999,000 IDRs (about Rs 10,300). The tipster has claimed that the phone will come in the same range in India as well.
